Nollywood veteran Chiwetalu Agu expressed his profound gratitude and admiration for his wife, Nkechi Agu, during a recent celebration of her birthday.

He acknowledged the pivotal role she has played in his life and career, emphasizing that her unwavering support has been instrumental in his achievements.

In the video shared on his Instagram page, Agu could be observed serenading his wife with his melodious voice as he performed the ‘Happy Birthday’ song for her.

“I want to thank you for being an amazing person to me. I want to thank you for letting me be your husband. Even God knows I wouldn’t have made it this far without your support,” he said.

“Thank you for being one of the major reasons I refuse to give up on life. I might not have gold or silver to give you, but believe me when I say my love for you will remain, My Queen.”

Agu, known for his distinctive use of colloquial language, phrases, and clichés in numerous films, has achieved widespread recognition and popularity in Nigeria and among Nollywood enthusiasts globally. In 2012, he was honored with the prestigious Nollywood award for ‘Best Actor in an Indigenous Movie (Non-English Speaking Language).
