The inquiry came from a woman who felt inadequate and wanted
to know how Dikeh coped when her ex-husband departed, leaving her to raise
their child alone. This woman described herself as “a nobody aiming to be
somebody soon,” and sought practical guidance.
In her reply, Dikeh made it clear that she was the one who
decided to leave her marriage for her own well-being and that of her child,
labeling it the “best decision” she ever made. She highlighted the significance
of self-investment and personal development, urging the woman to focus on her
own health and that of her child while seeking divine guidance.
Always prioritize your children's well-being while looking
for strength and direction from God. Sometimes, the conclusion of one chapter
can lead to the start of your blessings, but if your marriage holds value, do
fight for it. Take care.”
In a subsequent Instagram post, Dikeh extended a more
general message to single mothers, acknowledging that while she may not have
all the solutions, she draws strength from love and faith.
She wrote: “Dear single mothers, I don’t have a manual for
these things. I am neither a pro in this movement. My biggest teacher has been
LOVE. I just let God do his thing, and his thing is enough for me. Draw
strength from God, and most especially keep your family matters private.”
