In the North Central region, localized thunderstorms are anticipated in parts of Niger and Kwara States during the morning hours. Later in the day, similar weather is expected in the Federal Capital Territory, Nasarawa, Plateau, Kwara, and Kogi States.
In the southern cities, localized thunderstorms are forecasted for parts of Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Lagos, and Ondo States in the morning. The agency also expects localized thunderstorms later in the day across Oyo, Ondo, Osun, Ogun, Imo, Enugu, Ekiti, Edo, Ebonyi, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross River, Lagos, and Akwa Ibom States.
On Tuesday, localized thunderstorms are predicted in the morning for parts of Taraba, Adamawa, Kano, Katsina, and Jigawa States in the north. In the afternoon, thunderstorms are expected in Adamawa, Taraba, Kaduna, Zamfara, Kebbi, Sokoto, Bauchi, Borno, and Gombe States.
NiMet also forecasts localized thunderstorms in the morning over parts of Plateau and Nasarawa States, with additional thunderstorms expected in the afternoon and evening across the Federal Capital Territory, Plateau, Nasarawa, and Niger States. In the southern regions, localized thunderstorms are anticipated in Delta, Edo, and Ondo States during the morning hours.
Localized thunderstorms are expected later in the day across several regions, including Ogun, Edo, Ekiti, Ondo, Imo, Enugu, Anambra, Lagos, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom States, according to the agency's forecast.
On Wednesday morning, localized thunderstorms are predicted for parts of Kaduna, Zamfara, and Kebbi States in the northern region. The agency also anticipates thunderstorms in Taraba, Adamawa, Borno, Bauchi, Kaduna, Zamfara, Kebbi, Jigawa, and Kano States.
