Indigenous rapper Remilekun Abdulkalid Safaru, widely known as Reminisce, has unveiled his much-anticipated extended play (EP) titled ‘Sui Generis’. The term "sui generis," derived from Latin, translates to “of its/their own kind” or “in a class by itself,” signifying its uniqueness. The artist shared the news of the EP's release on social media this past Friday. 

This seven-track EP showcases a variety of talented artists, including Vector, Bad Boy Timz, Logos Olori, Bard Banks, BhadBoi OML, Easyscope, and Lucid. The tracks featured in ‘Sui Generis’ are ‘Kupe,’ ‘Ire,’ ‘Up As F**k,’ ‘The Ultimate,’ ‘Owo,’ ‘Scopatumana,’ and ‘Backshots.’

Born Remilekun Khalid Safaru, Reminisce is renowned for his multifaceted talents as a singer, rapper, songwriter, and actor. Originating from Ogun State, he expresses his artistry in both English and Yoruba, his mother tongue. Since gaining prominence with his rap verse on 9ice’s ‘Gongo Aso’ album in 2008, he has established himself as a significant figure in the Nigerian music industry. 

His early hits, ‘Ever Since’ and ‘If Only,’ propelled him into the limelight, alongside his acting debut in Kemi Adetiba’s film ‘King of Boys.’ Reminisce has garnered numerous awards and accolades throughout his career, including being named one of the “Seven World Rappers You Should Meet” by Time magazine in 2014. Additionally, he is the founder of Les Roses Rouge (LRR) Records.
