Nigerian superstar Wizkid is preparing for his first release of 2024. On September 29, 2024, he hosted a vibrant release party at a Paris nightclub for his upcoming collaboration titled 'Piece of My Heart,' featuring Brent Faiyaz.

The venue was packed with fans and associates eager to celebrate with the Grammy-winning artist, who remains a significant presence in the global music scene.

The new collaboration is scheduled to drop later in October, marking the beginning of the much-anticipated era of his sixth album, 'Morayo.' This announcement coincided with the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Wizkid's second album, 'Ayo,' which includes the hit single 'Ojuelelegba.'

The anniversary event allowed fans to honor both the album and the iconic track, which played a crucial role in promoting Nigerian music on the world stage. 'Piece of My Heart' signifies the launch of the 'Morayo' era, an album dedicated to Wizkid's late mother, who passed away in 2023.

Wizkid has previously described this forthcoming album as his finest work to date, and the collaboration with Brent Faiyaz provides fans with a glimpse of what to expect from the project.

For Brent Faiyaz, this collaboration marks his second partnership with a Nigerian artist, following his feature on Tems' track 'Found' from her acclaimed EP 'If Orange Was A Place.'
