Yomi Fabiyi, a prominent actor and filmmaker in Nollywood, has intensified his efforts to seek justice for the late musician Ilerioluwa Promise, widely known as Mohbad, by launching a private investigation into the details surrounding his death.
Fabiyi, who is also an advocate for human rights, shared
this update on his Instagram account, indicating that the investigation is now
in its third day.
He reiterated his dedication to revealing the truth while
ensuring the safety and confidentiality of all parties involved.
In a recent update, Fabiyi posted a video of his visit to
CURA_MED Hospital, commending the facility for its transparency and adherence
to established protocols, stating, “The hospital did everything right and
provided substantial evidence. Kudos to the staff.”
He further elaborated on his investigative role, emphasizing
the importance of conducting comprehensive and impartial inquiries as part of a
human rights organization.
“Not every detail of our investigation will be made public
for the safety and right of privacy of all involved. We would rather share with
appropriate quarters. But trust me, we will do our best to play our part for a
better and safer society,” Fabiyi stated.
Fabiyi also emphasized the upcoming peaceful demonstration
set to take place in front of the Coroner Inquest Court in Ikorodu on September
11, 2024, as part of the ongoing pursuit of justice.
