On September 16, the rapper was apprehended at a Manhattan hotel on charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky ordered Combs to be detained while he awaits trial, following his not guilty plea to a comprehensive 14-page federal indictment.
During a press conference on Tuesday, Buzbee disclosed that the group of 120 accusers is nearly evenly divided by gender.
The allegations span more than 30 years and involve 25 minors, including one child who was reportedly just 9 years old at the time of the alleged abuse.
The claims encompass a range of serious offenses, including violent sexual assault, sexual abuse, the use of controlled substances to facilitate sex, forced imprisonment, coercion into prostitution, sexual misconduct, and abuse of minors.
Buzbee stated that the children allegedly targeted by the rapper were often aspiring to careers in television or music, lured by promises of stardom.
He urged other victims to come forward, assuring them that their identities would be kept confidential.
“Our law firm is currently representing 120 individuals in civil cases against Sean Diddy Combs,” he noted. “This group consists of an equal number of males and females, with 60 of each gender participating as plaintiffs.
Among them, 62 percent identify as African American, 30 percent as white, and the remainder as Asian. The victims hail from 25 different states, with the largest numbers coming from California, New York, Georgia, and Florida.”
“I want to focus on the age of these victims. When we talk about the age of the victims when the conduct occurred, it is shocking. The youngest victim at the time of occurrence was 9 years old. We have an individual who was 14 years old. We have one who was 15. 25 of the 120 victims who are plaintiffs in these cases were minors at the time of the acts complained of.
“The conduct occurred in a space of 25 years.
“The acts complained of occurred in New York – Manhattan, and Athens, California. Occurred during parties, after parties, album parties, New Year’s Eve parties, 4th of July parties, puppy parties, white parties, and auditions.”
Buzbee indicated that medical examinations revealed the presence of drugs in the plaintiffs' bloodstream, noting that "Xylazine is the most common." The attorney stated that each case will be filed individually, based on the location of the incidents.
The 54-year-old media mogul has garnered significant media attention since November 2023, following legal actions taken by several women, including Cassie Ventura, the rapper's former girlfriend, who allege they were victims of sexual assault.
Cassie, a singer, has accused the rapper of rape, abuse, and human trafficking throughout their decade-long relationship.
Additionally, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a former producer for Diddy, has initiated a lawsuit claiming that the rapper sexually harassed, drugged, and threatened him for more than a year.
Recently, a Michigan inmate received a default judgment awarding $100 million in a sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy.
