Wanni, a contestant on the current season of Big Brother Naija, expressed her desire to be part of Akindele's projects during a discussion with fellow housemates on Wednesday.
She stated, “Me, I want to be in Funke Akindele’s and Kunle Afolayan’s production.
“Funke Akindele is very big. The quality of her movies is top notch and she has been in the game. She’s OG.”
An X user, @GloriaNapier9, shared the video and tagged Akindele, encouraging her to consider Wanni's request.
She wrote, “@funkeakindele your highness ma. No one does it like you ma, please hear our baby’s request. Thank you in advance.”
In response, Akindele confirmed her willingness to fulfill Wanni's wish by resharing the clip on X, stating: “Will be waiting. All the best dear.”
This season of BBNaija began on July 28, featuring 28 housemates divided into 14 teams.
The grand prize for this edition is an impressive N100 million, which includes both cash and an SUV, along with additional sponsored prizes to be revealed later.
The show is set to run for 10 weeks, culminating in the finale on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
