AC Milan forward Tammy Abraham has expressed a desire to return to Nigeria, highlighting his deep-rooted connection to the country stemming from his childhood.

Born in Camberwell, London, to Nigerian parents, Abraham cherishes the memories of his experiences in West Africa. Nevertheless, he made his official debut for the England national team in 2020 in a match against the Czech Republic.

During a recent interview with Milan TV, Abraham mentioned having several acquaintances of Nigerian descent.

“I grew up in an area with many Nigerians. I was raised with that culture, I’ve been to Nigeria, and I hope to go back soon. My mom often cooks Nigerian dishes.”

In 2017, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) attempted to persuade Mr. Abraham to represent the Super Eagles. However, he ultimately made the decision to commit his international career to the Three Lions.

Since then, the 27-year-old has accumulated 11 appearances for England, contributing three goals.
