Bimbo Manuel has stated that it is unlikely for any Nigerian actor to be able to purchase a Range Rover solely through their acting career.
Nollywood veteran Bimbo Manuel has asserted that no actor in Nigeria can afford a Range Rover solely through their acting career.
He stated that many of his peers, who showcase extravagant homes and vehicles on social media, are leading "fake" lifestyles.
Manuel made these comments during a recent appearance on the TVC program, Your View.
“The actors you see flaunting Range Rovers and mansions in Ikoyi are living fake lives.
“No actor in Nigeria would say he or she can buy a Range Rover from acting fees alone,” he said.
The 66-year-old said he doesn’t care about living a flamboyant lifestyle because he likes “a humble and realistic life”.
Bimbo began his television career in 1985 as a broadcaster at the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC). He subsequently transitioned to Ogun State Television (OGTV) before embarking on his acting career in 1986.
