Nigerian comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, widely recognized as Seyi Law, has recounted a personal incident that he believes highlighted the risks associated with spiritual monitoring.

In a recent update on his X account, Seyi Law shared how he came to realize that a pair of shoes given to him by a friend was purportedly being utilized for spiritual observation.

He explained that this revelation occurred during a personal prayer vigil in 2016, during which he felt he received a divine message indicating that an item in his home was being employed for spiritual surveillance.“I found out it was a pair of shoes someone gifted me,” he recounted.

In response to this unsettling discovery, his wife took action by burning the shoes. Shortly after their removal, Seyi Law's wife became pregnant with their daughter.

Since that time, he has observed that the friend who presented him with the shoes has repeatedly avoided his invitations, which has only intensified his concerns regarding the nature of the gift.

Seyi Law cautioned others about accepting gifts, remarking, “I wish it was only a mirror they could use to monitor someone sha. One must be very careful of gifts.”

He also mentioned that before this experience, he had been doubtful of individuals claiming to receive messages from God.
