Dayo Amusa, a prominent actress, commemorated her son's 41st day with a series of photographs shared on Instagram. Clad in green, the joyous mother highlighted this important developmental milestone, noting that, consistent with Yoruba tradition, her child is now considered eligible for social engagements.

She captioned her post, “Jade omo lẹni o. We are 41 days today. Elle mii Elle.”

Yoruba customs generally require that newborns remain indoors for the first 41 days, with outings allowed only for critical events such as hospital visits or naming ceremonies.

“I have made many mistakes, but one thing I did right is having you,” she wrote, calling her son her “best gift ever,” “joy,” and “complete blessing.”

Dayo also offered prayers for positive role modeling from both herself and the boy's father.

Dayo Amusa is celebrating her inaugural Christmas as a mother.

She shared matching photos of herself and her son on her Instagram account, showcasing their festive spirit. In her post, she reflected on her past mistakes but emphasized that one of her greatest achievements is bringing him into the world.

Describing her newborn as her most precious gift and a source of immense joy, she expressed her hope that both she and his father would serve as positive role models for him.

Kemi Filani notes that Dayo Amusa previously shared her experiences of motherhood when she marked the one-month milestone of being a mother.
