Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, has once again emphasized his unconventional proposal of a $1 billion donation to Wikipedia, contingent upon the site agreeing to change its name to “Dickipedia” for at least one year.

Musk's recent affirmation followed a post on X by Doge Designer, a regular recipient of Musk's interactions, who reminded users of the offer.

“Elon Musk once offered Wikipedia $1 billion to change their name to ‘Dickipedia,'” the post read. Musk responded, “True. Offer still stands.”

The billionaire initially presented this proposal in October 2023, after expressing his concerns regarding the fundraising strategies of the Wikimedia Foundation. At that time, Musk questioned the necessity of substantial funding for Wikipedia's operations, remarking, “You can literally fit a copy of the entire text on your phone!”

In a subsequent message, Musk reiterated his $1 billion offer to rename Wikipedia to “Dickipedia,” asserting that such a change would serve the purpose of “accuracy.” When a user suggested that Wikipedia could temporarily alter its name to obtain the funds, Musk clarified that the name change must be maintained for a minimum of one year, stating, “I mean, I’m not a fool lol.”

As of now, there has been no response from the Wikimedia Foundation.
