LG Electronics has introduced the LG QNED TV, aimed at elevating the viewing experience for its customers.

The company asserts that the QNED TV marks a major advancement in the television industry, integrating a hybrid technology that merges the superior attributes of Quantum Dot and NanoCell displays with cutting-edge Mini LED backlighting.

Mr. Choongbae Seok, General Manager of Home Entertainment in the TV Division, stated that this innovative combination enables LG to provide consumers with exceptionally detailed and color-accurate picture quality, designed to compete with OLED displays while overcoming some of the typical drawbacks associated with LED technology, such as limited contrast and inadequate black levels.

“The LG QNED TV is an attractive option for those looking for advanced colour technology, exceptional brightness, and impressive contrast. While it may not replace OLED for those who prioritise absolute black levels, it stands out as a premium choice for users seeking a middle ground between LED and OLED in terms of colour vibrancy, brightness and detail, especially for high quality streaming and gaming experiences,” Seok said.
