Following an incident during the Premier League Manchester derby between Manchester City and Manchester United, a Manchester City supporter unfortunately passed away.
The individual died “after experiencing a medical incident” at Etihad Stadium on Sunday, as stated by City on Monday, who did not provide further details.
“The club's thoughts are with the family and friends during this profoundly challenging time,” City expressed on X.
According to local media, the Manchester Evening News, witnesses reported that the incident occurred shortly before kickoff near one of the stadium entrances.
Manchester United emerged victorious in the match with a score of 2-1.
