Doris Ogah has been crowned Miss Nigeria, emerging victorious from a field of 34 contestants. The 45th Miss Nigeria Coronation was a spectacular celebration of cultural heritage and community spirit, held at the prestigious Royal Box in Victoria Island, Lagos. 

The event drew dignitaries, sponsors, and well-wishers in recognition of the outstanding young women competing for the coveted title.

In her motivating speech, Rita Dominic, Chairman of the Miss Nigeria Board, emphasized the importance of this year’s theme, “Beyond Beauty: Reigning Together as Queens.”

She portrayed the contestants as more than just representatives of their various geopolitical regions, referring to them as “ambassadors of one Nigeria.” Throughout their journey, these women have evolved into embodiments of creativity, resilience, and progress—qualities that reflect the essence of a united nation.

“Miss Nigeria transcends the celebration of beauty; it serves as a call to action,” she stated. “We urge these young women and others throughout Nigeria to take an active role in shaping their communities, understanding societal structures, and fostering meaningful change.”

The event exemplified collaboration, with sincere appreciation expressed to sponsors such as MTN Nigeria and Mikano, whose dedication to empowering young women and promoting Nigerian culture perfectly aligned with the pageant’s mission. The Chairman also acknowledged the commitment of her team and business partners, recognizing their contributions to the success of the pageant.
