Muyiwa Ademola, actor and producer, has announced plans to remake his acclaimed 2004 film, "Ori: The Rebirth," in conjunction with his birthday celebrations.

This exciting project was revealed via an Instagram post featuring a montage showcasing scenes from the upcoming film.

Ademola conveyed his appreciation for the lasting appeal of “Ori,” which debuted 22 years ago and has evolved into a significant cultural landmark.

He encouraged his fans to back the new endeavor, which is scheduled for release in theaters on May 1, 2025.

He wrote: “Happy Birthday to me. Ori has moved from being just a film to something hugely phenomenal. 22 years after the film was made, a day would never pass without me meeting someone who would ask me to remake this film.

“Ladies and gentlemen, Ori: The Rebirth is ready! Hitting cinemas from May 1, 2025! The world must see Ori: The Rebirth. Please, journey with me again, guys. This is all I request from you for my birthday. Happy Birthday to me once again”.
