Nigerian singer Joeboy has opened up about the type of woman he would never date, sharing his relationship deal breakers in a recent interview with Zikoko.

The music star revealed that he is turned off by women who talk excessively or seek validation on social media, describing these traits as major red flags in a relationship.

“I don’t like girls that talk too much… I don’t mean girls that are expressive. Being expressive is different from talking too much. Some people just talk too much, and I don’t like that,” Joeboy explained.

Social Media Validation: A No-Go

Joeboy also expressed his dislike for partners who constantly compare their relationships to others or seek external validation online.

“If she is always posting for validation or saying, ‘Oh, this person is doing this in their relationship, why don’t we do this?’ that’s a red flag for me,” he added.

The Baby crooner emphasized that such behavior can create unnecessary pressure and detract from the authenticity of a relationship.

What Joeboy Values in a Partner

While Joeboy didn’t delve into the qualities he looks for in a partner, his comments suggest he values meaningful communication and a genuine connection over superficial displays or comparisons.

As one of Nigeria’s most beloved artists, Joeboy’s candid revelations offer fans a glimpse into his personal life and preferences, sparking conversations about modern relationships and deal breakers.
