The actress, who is married to fellow Nollywood star Lateef Adedimeji, marked her birthday on Sunday with an overwhelming outpouring of love from fans, friends, and colleagues.
Taking to Instagram, Mo Bimpe thanked God for His guidance and reflected on the immense joy and good news that accompanied her special day. She highlighted her achievements, including exceeding personal goals and earning an Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) nomination for her film Lisabi.
“I wished for a birthday better than last year, but what did I get? The BEST birthday ever!” she wrote. “This year came with so much joy and good news, I can’t even begin to say it all! Was it the ‘hitting my targets and exceeding my expectations?’ Or the overwhelming love and sweetness from y’all? The posts, the prayers, the gifts, the calls, the LOVE! The Ramadan Lecture! And yes, the AMVCA NOMINATIONS and so much more.”
Despite the celebrations winding down, Mo Bimpe reminded fans that her birthday month isn’t over yet and urged them to keep voting for Lisabi in the AMVCA’s Best Indigenous Language category.
“From the depth of my heart, THANK YOU! Eshey gan. I genuinely appreciate and cherish every single one of you. Thank y’all for celebrating me. And before you think it’s over, my birthday isn’t officially over o! It’s still my month! So keep voting for LISABI as the BEST INDIGENOUS LANGUAGE. Let’s make history together!”
