Right to Protein Nigeria and Lagos Food Bank Initiative Shared Protein-Rich Relief to Vulnerable Households
In a heartfelt collaboration, Right to Protein Nigeria joined forces with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative to distribute food and essential protein-rich items to underserved communities across Lagos State. The outreach took place on March 31, 2025, at the Food Bank warehouse, as part of the Ramadan Food Assistance Program (RFAP).
The initiative aimed to ensure that vulnerable Muslim families could observe Ramadan with dignity, promoting the message that Eid is for sharing. Under the banner “From Our Hearts to Their Homes,” the two organizations reached out to food-insecure families with nutritious, protein-rich meals—addressing both immediate needs and long-term nutritional challenges.
The successful event underscored the power of partnership in tackling hunger and malnutrition. It provided vital support during the holy month and reaffirmed a shared commitment to community care and empowerment. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in the ongoing fight against food insecurity in Lagos State, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of countless families.
