Pop icon and actress Jennifer Lopez is facing a lawsuit for copyright infringement after allegedly sharing her own red carpet pictures on social media without obtaining proper authorization.

Photographer Edwin Blanco and his agency, Backgrid, have initiated legal action, claiming that Lopez used two of their copyrighted images without permission. They are seeking $150,000 in damages for each photo, totaling a $300,000 lawsuit.

The lawsuit further alleges that Lopez utilized the images to promote her personal brand by tagging the jewelry and clothing designers she wore. The photos in question were reportedly from the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, which Lopez had posted on her official social media page with the caption, "GG Weekend Glamour."
