Ambassador Racheal Yedi, CEO of VH&M Travels, has been recognised with the Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity by the West Africa Youth Council.
The award ceremony, held in Lagos, celebrated Yedi’s outstanding contributions to youth empowerment, ethical leadership, and entrepreneurship across the African continent.

A passionate advocate for youth development, Yedi has leveraged her leadership in the travel and tourism industry to create meaningful opportunities for young people.
Through VH&M Travels, she has supported hundreds of African youths by offering mentorship, skills training, and employment opportunities — helping them transform their aspirations into tangible careers.
Officials from the West Africa Youth Council praised Yedi’s commitment to values synonymous with Nelson Mandela’s legacy, including integrity, compassion, and purposeful leadership.

The West Africa Youth Council said the Nelson Mandela Leadership Award is part of its mission to celebrate and amplify the work of changemakers who are raising the bar in leadership and inspiring the next generation.
