The actress took to Instagram on Tuesday to recount the incident, explaining that the collapse occurred dangerously close to her newly acquired car. According to her, the situation could have been far worse had the ceiling fallen inside the house or directly on her vehicle.
“Come to Lekki, they said. Thank God it didn’t fall inside the house and my new car wasn’t parked there. What would I have said? It’s well with una Lekki developers,” she lamented in the video.
Blessing expressed disbelief over the event, noting that she had never encountered anything of that nature before. The crash, she hinted, raised concerns about the structural integrity of some modern housing developments in the highbrow Lekki area, which has in recent years faced criticism over rushed construction and poor finishing.
