The Nollywood film scene welcomed a new title this week as “Mr. & Mrs. Parker”, produced by Titilola Ajayi—popularly known as Omoposh—made its digital debut on Motionflixtv’s YouTube channel on August 28, 2025. The release comes on the heels of a glamorous premiere in Lagos, drawing attention for its bold storyline and ensemble cast.

Headlined by veteran stars Akin Lewis, Mide Martins, Kemity, Tokunbo Awoga, and featuring the highly anticipated acting debut of Afropop singer 9ice, the movie has already become a subject of conversation among Nollywood enthusiasts.

At its heart, “Mr. & Mrs. Parker” blends romance with layered family drama, telling the story of characters who live double lives: philanthropists in public, but individuals burdened with challenging secrets in private. This duality gives the film a fresh edge in Nollywood’s increasingly competitive storytelling space.

Producer and lead actress Titilola Ajayi described the project as a labor of love and a statement of Nollywood’s evolving creativity. “As the producer of Mr. & Mrs. Parker, I am deeply proud to present a film that not only blends heartfelt romance and gripping family drama but also features truly outstanding performances from our talented cast, including the acting debut of singer 9ice. Our story stands out for its unique portrayal of dual personalities—philanthropists by day, with a secret life that challenges perceptions and forces difficult choices,” she said.

Ajayi added that beyond entertainment, the film carries an inspirational message. “As a filmmaker, I believe every story told from the heart is a good story, and I poured my passion into making this project unique and beautiful. More than anything, I hope this film inspires viewers to strive towards their goals no matter the challenges they face.”

With its combination of established stars, fresh faces, and an unconventional storyline, “Mr. & Mrs. Parker” signals a new chapter for both its producer and Nollywood’s digital-first distribution strategy, which is increasingly connecting filmmakers directly to global audiences.
