BBNaija 10 Housemates Go All Out in Guinness ‘Liquid Love’ Task

The Big Brother Naija Season 10 house was electric as housemates faced one of the most thrilling challenges of the season yet. Sponsored by Guinness, the show’s gold partner, the ‘Guinness Liquid Love’ task combined high-energy competition with a celebration of teamwork, focus, and sheer determination. For viewers, it was a perfect mix of drama, strategy, and entertainment, while the housemates pushed themselves to the limit in pursuit of victory.

Now part of the Tolaram portfolio, Guinness leveraged the challenge to create a powerful, immersive brand presence within the house. The iconic stout, known for its bold identity, has already been a recurring presence during the show’s Friday Jacuzzi sessions and Saturday night parties. With the ‘Liquid Love’ task, Guinness extended its engagement beyond social settings, highlighting the emotional and social connections that the brand aims to foster.

The challenge unfolded in four demanding phases, each designed to test the housemates’ control, balance, focus, physical strength, and finesse. Each team began with 100 points, and their performance in the tasks determined whether they gained or lost points along the way.

The first challenge, dubbed ‘Break the Ice’, was a race against time. Housemates had to retrieve ice cubes marked with “6 degrees” from a pit filled with obstacles. Representatives froze at the sound of a buzzer and had to unfreeze on the next signal. Mistakes, such as picking the wrong cube or failing to follow instructions, resulted in point deductions. The first team to complete all six trips gained 30 points, while the last team lost 30 points.

Next came ‘Mind Your Angles’, a team puzzle challenge. Representatives navigated through life-size cutouts, passed puzzle cards between teammates, and solved them on a board. Strategy and coordination were key, with 15 points awarded to the first team to complete the puzzle and the same number deducted from the last.

The third challenge, ‘Pour with Joy’, tested both precision and agility. A team representative carried a bucket of colored balls strapped to their knees through a monkey bar to the finish line. Points were awarded based on the number of balls successfully transported, adding 20 to the winner and deducting the same from the last team.

The final task, ‘Perfect Guinness Pour’, challenged housemates to achieve the iconic 45° Guinness tilt pour without spilling a drop, highlighting patience and technique. Despite their efforts, no team managed to claim points for this round.

By the end of the four rounds, Team Vibrant — composed of Jason, Jae, Sultana, Joanna, Imisi, Kuture, Isabella, and Kayikumi — emerged as clear winners. Their flawless execution across puzzles, physical challenges, and precise task maneuvers secured them victory for Week 3, capping off a night of intense competition and spectacular entertainment.

The ‘Guinness Liquid Love’ task was more than just a game; it was a testament to teamwork, strategy, and the emotional connections that make both the show and the brand resonate with millions of viewers.
