The move follows Tuesday’s announcement from the UEFA Foundation for Children of a new initiative to support children affected by war. The foundation has partnered with Médecins du Monde, Médecins Sans Frontières, and Handicap International — organisations providing critical humanitarian aid to children in Gaza.
Beyond Gaza, UEFA has a history of backing projects for young people in conflict zones including Afghanistan, Lebanon, Sudan, Syria, Yemen, and Ukraine. Wednesday’s display reinforced that commitment, using the high-profile Super Cup stage to deliver a message of peace and protection for the most vulnerable.
