Nigeria’s music and entertainment industry is set for a fresh wave of innovation with the official launch of Music Tech Nigeria, an initiative designed to address long-standing challenges in the sector. In a strategic move, the platform has teamed up with Lohli, the country’s first homegrown advertising technology company, to deliver solutions tailored to artists, music businesses, and audiences.

A key priority for the initiative is fixing the live performance ecosystem, where artists frequently struggle with poor infrastructure, weak monetization, low audience engagement, inefficient ticketing, and inadequate promotion. Music Tech Nigeria plans to deploy technology-driven tools that will streamline concert planning, enhance live event experiences, and create more sustainable revenue channels for both emerging and established acts.

Through its partnership with Lohli, the focus will be on embedding Ad-tech solutions into the entertainment space. This will allow for sharper audience targeting, data-driven marketing, and fresh monetization strategies, ultimately redefining how live shows are promoted, attended, and experienced nationwide.

Demilade Olaosun, Founder and CEO of Lohli, described the collaboration as timely and necessary:

“Our partnership with Music Tech Nigeria is a natural fit. We are excited to bring our advertising technology expertise to the music space, helping artists, event organizers, and brands reach audiences in smarter, more profitable ways. As we prepare for the next phase of Lohli, where users will earn money from watching music videos and other entertainment content, it is only right that we pilot this brilliant initiative alongside the organizers. Together, we are shaping a future where technology fuels creativity and makes the entertainment ecosystem more rewarding for everyone.”

Organizers of Music Tech Nigeria said the initiative is not only about empowering artists and event managers but also about reshaping the wider industry through transparency, inclusivity, and profitability. By combining music with cutting-edge technology, the platform hopes to unlock new growth opportunities across the Nigerian creative economy.
