On Wednesday, Tufab shared screenshots of alleged messages from Davido on X, formerly Twitter, and asked the public to hold the musician accountable if anything happens to him.
The Alleged Threats
According to the leaked messages, the dispute began when Davido accused Tufab of calling him "Osakpolo," a name he didn't like. The messages show Davido warning Tufab, claiming to be a member of the "Aye" fraternity, and referring to Tufab as a "Bird"—slang often used to identify members of a rival group.
"My name is not osakpolo I’m warning u," one of the alleged messages read. "U be bird I be aye, Make we play d game."
In his post, Tufab denied calling Davido by that name and stated that he is not a cult member. He also said that this was not the first time he had received threats.
"I’m bringing this to the general public as a disclaimer against my personality," Tufab wrote. "I’ve never said anything hurtful to u... My life is under threat and if anything happens to me, y’all know who to hold responsible."
This public feud has quickly gained traction on X, with many users weighing in on the issue. The situation has intensified the long-standing rivalry between the fanbases of Wizkid and Davido.
