Reality TV star and actress Vee has opened up about her approach to dating, emphasizing that her primary focus in relationships is self-preservation. In a candid video message, she explained that avoiding pregnancy by the “wrong man” is central to her personal mission.

Speaking about the challenges of dating, particularly in Lagos, Vee described herself as stubborn and strong-willed, noting that her decisions are guided by caution and self-awareness. “It is my mission in life to avoid the wrong man getting me pregnant. And it’s not to say I’m better than the women who have been in that position,” she said.

She elaborated on her mindset, stressing that her cautious approach stems from understanding herself and her emotional limits. “I try to avoid situations that would put me in a state of psychosis. I’m passionate about not getting f*cked over, and maybe that is what stops me from finding unapologetic love,” Vee admitted.

The former Big Brother Naija housemate also emphasized the importance of learning from others’ experiences. “I’m stubborn. I’m hard-headed. But I’m not stupid. I need to make sure that when it comes to choosing a life partner, I try my best to get it right. You can’t know someone 100 per cent, but you can try your best. People’s experience is the best teacher, not in my world. Especially with the internet, where people are sharing their experiences. I don’t need to experience something to know that it’s not going to work for me.”

Vee’s reflections reveal a deliberate approach to love and relationships, highlighting her commitment to making informed choices while protecting her emotional well-being.
