Grammy-nominated Afrobeats star Davido is set to bring his electrifying ‘5IVE’ world tour to Nigeria, marking a celebratory homecoming that promises to honour his roots and the global rise of Afrobeats.

Following a successful North American tour, the artist — born David Adeleke — announced the Nigerian leg on social media, describing it as “for the culture” and a deeply personal return to where it all began.

“I’m blessed to perform all around the world, and everywhere I go, Nigeria goes with me. But this time… I’m bringing it HOME,” Davido wrote. “After an unforgettable North American tour, it’s only right that we bring that energy back where it all began. 5IVE TOUR NIGERIA, y’all ready? This one’s for the culture. This one’s personal. This one’s for US.”

The tour, built around his fifth studio album, 5ive — released in April 2025 — will kick off on October 26 in Akwa Ibom, before moving to Adamawa (October 29), Enugu (November 1), and Ibadan (November 9). It will culminate in a grand Lagos finale on Christmas Day, December 25, in what fans are already calling one of the most anticipated live music events of the year.

Davido’s 5ive album has been a major global success, amassing millions of streams and featuring collaborations with stars such as Odumodublvck, Becky G, and Shenseea. The album fuses Afrobeats, R&B, and Caribbean rhythms — a sonic reflection of Davido’s evolving artistry and international reach.

His recent international tour included a landmark performance at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium alongside 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige, followed by sold-out shows across North America featuring rising Nigerian talents Victony and Morravey.

For Nigerian fans, the home leg of the 5IVE tour promises more than just music — it’s a celebration of unity, culture, and pride, tailored to reflect each city’s unique energy. From Akwa Ibom’s vibrant South-South flair to Lagos’s festive Christmas crescendo, Davido’s homecoming tour aims to capture the rhythm, colour, and spirit of modern Nigeria.

With his unmistakable charisma and global impact, Davido’s 5IVE Tour Nigeria is set to close out 2025 as a defining moment for Afrobeats — bringing the world’s spotlight back to where the sound was born.
