In an emotional post, Enioluwa highlighted his mother’s resilience and dedication, noting that while public attention often focuses on his father, a professor, his mother has been the quiet force shaping the family’s values of discipline, perseverance, and determination.
“When it comes to academics, everyone always talks about my dad —and rightly so, he’s a Professor. But my mum? She’s not often remembered in that same light… Yet what most people don’t know is that she’s always been the quiet force behind the scenes,” he wrote.
Her journey to a doctorate was unconventional and inspiring. At one point, she went back to rewrite her WAEC exams to take Mathematics. At 45, she returned to university to pursue another first degree, proving that age is no barrier to achieving one’s dreams.
Enioluwa shared her impressive academic accomplishments, which now include:
- Two First Degrees
- Two Master’s Degrees
- A Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- And now, a PhD
He celebrated her relentless pursuit of knowledge, writing:
