Nigerian Breweries Plc, the nation’s foremost brewing company, has restated its commitment to strengthening customer satisfaction and deepening stakeholder engagement as part of its long-standing dedication to excellence and partnership.

The reaffirmation came during a special customer tour of the Lagos Brewery, organised to mark the 2025 Customer Service Week. The event offered customers a rare behind-the-scenes look at the company’s operations, including its advanced production processes and sustainability initiatives.

Speaking at the tour, Uzodinma Odenigbo, Corporate Affairs Director of Nigerian Breweries Plc, expressed deep appreciation to customers for their enduring loyalty and collaboration over the years. He noted that the company’s approach to business transcends beverage production, focusing instead on building shared value and long-term impact.

“At Nigerian Breweries, our focus goes beyond producing quality beverages. It’s about creating shared value for our customers, communities, and partners,” Odenigbo said.

“We believe long-term business success is built on strong relationships, mutual trust, and a collective commitment to excellence. We remain resolute in our mission to refresh our consumers, empower our partners, and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s socio-economic growth.”

He further explained that Nigerian Breweries’ continued investments in innovation and sustainability demonstrate its determination to remain a responsible corporate citizen and a leader within Nigeria’s manufacturing landscape.

Also speaking at the event, Nduka Nnabuihe, Brewery Manager (represented by Félix Ofolue), underscored the company’s customer-first philosophy.

“At NB Plc, our customers are treated like royalty; they are at the center of everything we do,” Nnabuihe said.

“We work tirelessly to meet their needs by ensuring quality, availability, and reliable support. Our strong distribution network—including key distributors, sub-distributors, and retailers—ensures our products reach consumers efficiently and consistently. With over 79 years in business, we are proud of our legacy and remain committed to learning and growing alongside our customers as we look toward the next hundred years of success.”

During the tour, customers commended the company for its commitment to service excellence and business partnership.

Ability Akpan, one of the visiting customers, praised Nigerian Breweries for its consistent support of retailers and wholesalers, noting that such assistance has helped many businesses stay afloat amid economic challenges. He, however, called for enhanced product availability to meet rising consumer demand.

Similarly, Okpe Essien, owner of Brave Spots, applauded the company for maintaining high service standards despite current market difficulties.

“I am immensely grateful for Nigerian Breweries’ efforts to provide all that is needed to deliver a memorable experience to customers. I get all their products whenever I need them at a discounted cost. Also, the company pays regular visits to see if I lack anything to deliver an extraordinary experience to my customers,” Essien said.

The event highlighted Nigerian Breweries’ enduring commitment to innovation, customer service, and community impact—a tradition that has defined the company’s nearly eight-decade legacy and continues to shape its vision for the future.
