Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has accused some of his colleagues in the music industry of harboring envy towards his growing success.

The “Pity This Boy” crooner said the claim that he is not a strong lyricist is rooted in jealousy, adding that his track record in international collaborations and commercial success speaks for itself.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Toronto Ada’s Room podcast, Odumodublvck asserted that despite criticisms of his style, no other Nigerian rapper currently enjoys as much global recognition as he does.

“In Nigeria, they say my rap is not good, but I’m the most featured rapper by international artists,” he said. “I think it’s envy because I sing my hooks, my songs become hits, and I get more bookings than them. The envy is deep, especially when they think they’re better. But we pay no mind; we just keep pushing for those who believe.”

He further challenged his critics to match his commercial impact if they truly believe they are better rappers. “Let them sell more records and shows to prove it,” he added confidently.

Odumodublvck, known for his genre-blending style and energetic performances, has steadily risen to prominence in Nigeria’s hip-hop scene, earning recognition for bridging local sounds with international appeal.
