A Special Induction Ceremony held at the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) Secretariat in Lagos has formally added two high-profile professionals to the Institute’s community of Chartered Stockbrokers.

Mr. Abayomi Samson Oluyomi, Lagos State Commissioner for Finance, and Mr. Oluwole Adelaja Adeniyi, Managing Director of Stanbic IBTC, were admitted as Associate Members (ACS) after completing all statutory requirements. Their certification follows successful performance in the Institute’s professional examinations and the completion of a mandatory, industry-supervised internship.

Presiding over the event, CIS President and Chairman of Council, Mr. Oluropo Dada, FCS, praised both inductees for their commitment to professional development despite the heavy responsibilities of their executive positions. He underscored the centrality of integrity to the stockbroking profession and welcomed the two new members into the global securities and investment community.

The ceremony drew senior officials of the Institute, members of the Governing Council, past leadership, Fellows, staff, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the milestone.

With their induction, Mr. Abayomi Oluyomi, ACS, and Mr. Wole Adeniyi, ACS, join the ranks of certified professionals contributing to the growth and credibility of Nigeria’s capital market.
