Leading marketing communications agency, Nitro 121, recently capped its 20th anniversary celebrations with a lively and creatively staged event tagged the “Garage Gig.” The celebration took place at the company’s Ikeja GRA headquarters on Thursday, October 16, 2025, drawing top industry stakeholders, clients, and partners from across Nigeria’s marketing and advertising landscape.

The Garage Gig reflected Nitro 121’s trademark creativity, transforming the company’s premises into a vibrant urban scene reminiscent of a typical Lagos bus stop. Guests were treated to an authentic “garage” experience complete with a Danfo bus, a conductor calling out destinations, and an immersive display of street fashion, art, and music.

The event also featured a variety of local delicacies and beverages, including Ewa Agoyin, Zobo, fresh palm wine, and tasty small chops—bringing nostalgic Lagos street culture to life in an atmosphere that blended playfulness with creative flair.

Speaking at the celebration, Mr. Lampe Omoyele, Managing Director of Nitro 121, described the event as a reflection of the agency’s enduring culture of innovation and teamwork.

“From concept to execution, the Garage Gig was a manifestation of the creativity and diligence that define Nitro 121’s ethos,” he said.

“Nitroids’ work hard and play soft, living true to our core values of actingRIGHT with: Responsibility, Integrity, Gusto, Harmony and Transparency.’ The MD added that, it was great to see everyone in various styles and colours of ‘Street’, full of Steeze, repping the Nitro121 brand, working and playing together for the success of the Gig,” he added.

The event brought together a host of distinguished personalities, including Mr. Lolu Akinwunmi, Chairman of Nitro 121; Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo, Director-General of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON); Dr. Bolajoko Bayo-Ajayi, the newly elected first female President of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN); and Mr. Lanre Adisa, President of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), among other prominent figures.
