Chain Reactions Africa, a leading Creative Transformation Company on the continent, is closing the year on a high note after recording major wins at home and earning growing recognition on the global stage. The consultancy recently secured two top honours at the 10th Lagos Public Relations Industry Gala and Awards (LaPRIGA) and garnered five nominations at the 2025 Global Alliance World Public Relations and Communication Awards.

At LaPRIGA, Chain Reactions Africa emerged victorious in two key categories — Public Sector Campaign of the Year and Best in Entertainment PR — reinforcing its reputation for insight-led, purpose-driven communications.

The Public Sector Campaign of the Year award recognised the firm’s work on the Citizen Connect Initiative for the Federal Government of Nigeria. Designed as a strategic communications platform, the initiative aimed to enhance transparency, deepen public understanding of government policies, and improve how governance outcomes are communicated to citizens. The recognition highlights Chain Reactions Africa’s strength in translating complex public-sector narratives into clear, relatable messages that foster trust and engagement.

The consultancy also clinched Best in Entertainment PR for the Guinness Premiership League Trophy Tour, a nationwide activation that took the iconic trophy directly to fans across multiple cities. The campaign transformed a sporting moment into an immersive cultural experience, uniting football enthusiasts across the country.

Beyond Nigeria, Chain Reactions Africa has continued to build momentum internationally, earning five shortlist nominations at the Global Alliance World Public Relations and Communication Awards — one of the most prestigious platforms for excellence in strategic communications worldwide. From over 89 entries spanning 20 countries, the firm emerged as the only Nigerian PR consultancy shortlisted, further positioning it as a benchmark for African excellence on the global stage.

The shortlisted campaigns span diverse categories, including Corporate Reputation for The Hack for 9mobile (now T2); Trends and Communication Transformation for ARAMANDA: Decoding the Neuroscience of Nigerian Youth; Consumer/Customer Relations for The NaijaHighlandah Challenge (#TNH) for William Lawson’s; Internal Communication for Next Era of Happiness for Pladis; and Public Service Relations for Taming the Bull for the Presidency.

Reacting to the milestone, Adedamola Danso, Consulting Business Lead at Chain Reactions Africa, said the recognition validates the firm’s belief in culturally grounded and purpose-driven creativity. “Winning locally while being recognised globally reinforces our belief that communication works best when it is purpose-led, culturally relevant, and executed with clarity and conviction,” he said.

Also commenting, Lanre Odukoya, Head of Media, Neuroscience and Storytelling, noted that the shortlisted campaigns were rooted in a deep understanding of human behaviour. He explained that the firm’s approach blends neuroscience, data, and storytelling to deliver work that is both impactful and enduring.

The consultancy’s global success also drew praise from Dr. Ike Neliaku, President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), who commended Chain Reactions Africa for consistently elevating Nigeria’s profile on the international PR stage.

Winners of the Global Alliance Awards will be announced online in the coming weeks, with trophies to be formally presented at the World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) 2026, scheduled to take place in November in Abuja.

With dual LaPRIGA wins and five global shortlist nominations, Chain Reactions Africa continues to cement its position as a defining force in Africa’s marketing communications landscape, exporting insight-led creativity and shaping narratives of national and global significance.
