Kaka Igbokwe, a former manager of Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has confirmed that the singer was arrested in London following a heated dispute with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru.

The incident reportedly occurred during 2Baba’s UK concert tour, when he missed a scheduled performance on October 2, 2025. Rumours had circulated that the absence was linked to an arrest following an altercation with Osawaru, who also serves as a lawmaker in the Edo State House of Assembly.

Kaka Igbokwe, the son of late Nigerian music legend Christy Essien-Igbokwe, made the revelation during an appearance on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live session on Monday evening. “Everything you heard about the couple’s face-off was true,” he stated.

Details of the Incident

According to Kaka, who was part of the London team and on the same flight as the couple, the altercation began when Natasha became upset after feeling abandoned by 2Baba upon arrival at the airport. Fans reportedly ushered the singer into a shop, leaving Osawaru behind.

Realizing his wife had been left behind, 2Baba allegedly ran back to her, at which point the situation escalated. Kaka explained that the confrontation led to the singer being handcuffed and arrested by local authorities.

A video of the alleged arrest, shared by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok on December 1, 2025, reignited public debate online and intensified scrutiny of the couple’s relationship.

The confirmation from Kaka adds a new layer of complexity to the ongoing public discussion surrounding 2Baba and Natasha Osawaru, particularly following recent livestream controversies and earlier reports about disputes between the couple.
