The initiative comes as the continent gears up for the tournament, which is set to kick off in less than 20 days. Teams are already announcing their squads ahead of the competition, scheduled from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, across Morocco’s upgraded world-class stadiums.
Spotlighting Nigerian Stories
The challenge is part of TECNO’s broader AFCON Festive Power Play project, which aims to merge football excitement with the festive season. Anchored on the theme “Every Moment is a Power Moment,” the campaign seeks to highlight inspiring Nigerian stories leading up to Africa’s biggest football event.
Running from November 28 to December 5, 2025, the contest invites fans, content creators, and everyday Nigerians to submit short videos under four categories:
- Moment of Glory
- Moment of Joy
- Moment of Creativity
- Moment of Rising
Submissions must be posted on TikTok, with optional uploads on Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook, tagged with official TECNO Nigeria handles. Participants are also required to email their entries to Afcon2025@Tecno-mobile.com, including their country, platform, and username in the subject line.
Judging and Rewards
Entries will be assessed based on creativity, theme relevance, brand integration, and video quality. The overall winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Morocco to watch the AFCON 2025 finals, while top creators in each category will be recognized at the TECNO Creators’ Award Night.
