The festive season is set for a major lift as Nigerian Breweries Plc brings a star-studded lineup to Ibadan for the Goldberg Golden Xmas Concert, headlined by music heavyweights Wande Coal, Zlatan, Shoday, and DJ Neptune. The event, slated for December 13 at the Ibadan Polo Club, was officially unveiled during the brand’s Legendary Christmas Press Cocktail.

Joining the top acts is an exciting mix of performers, including Jerry Shaffer and Tolu Daniels, completing a roster that blends Afrobeats hitmakers, street-pop forces, and high-energy DJs and hypemen—all curated to deliver a charged December experience.

The 2025 edition of the Golden Xmas Concert reinforces Goldberg’s long-standing bond with the Southwest, celebrating its music culture, community spirit, and lively December atmosphere. The Ibadan Polo Club is expected to transform into a vibrant cultural arena where modern sound, regional identity, and festive energy collide for an unforgettable night.

For decades, Nigerian Breweries has played a defining role in shaping Nigeria’s December festivities—powering concerts, carnivals, nightlife and what has evolved into the globally recognised Detty December phenomenon. Today, the season stands as a cultural and economic powerhouse valued at over N100 billion, with the company’s brands consistently at the heart of the celebration.

Speaking at the press cocktail, Sarah Agha, Marketing Director of Nigerian Breweries Plc, said the Legendary Christmas campaign goes beyond seasonal promotions.

Every December, Nigeria transforms into something extraordinary… What began as a local year-end celebration has evolved into a global cultural export. Our brands have always been part of that energy. This year, we are taking it a step further by leading the charge, creating experiences across the country that capture the joy, creativity, and togetherness that make this season special,” she said.

The Golden Xmas Concert is expected to attract thousands of music lovers, culture fans and Goldberg loyalists across the Southwest, capturing the spirit of the festive season while celebrating the region’s cultural heartbeat in its purest form.
