Repton Group has once again reinforced its position as a major force in Nigeria’s cement distribution landscape, emerging as the Largest Distributor of Dangote Cement in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa. The recognition, conferred under the 2025 Dangote Cement Award, marks the third consecutive time the Nigeria-based conglomerate has achieved the feat, following wins in 2023 and 2024.

The award was presented at the Dangote Cement Distributors’ Awards Night held in Lagos, where Repton Group was honoured through its cement distribution subsidiary, Kazab Heritage Limited. The Group operates a diversified portfolio of subsidiaries, including Defrost Ventures Limited for haulage and logistics, Kazab Oil and Gas, Heritage Engineering Services Limited, and Kazab Homes and Properties.

Reacting to the honour, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Repton Group, Otunba Odeyeyiwa Kazeem Olayemi, described the recognition as a validation of consistent performance and a transparent assessment process. He expressed gratitude to the President and Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, as well as the Board and Management of Dangote Cement Plc, for what he described as an objective and merit-based award system.

Otunba Odeyeyiwa also paid glowing tribute to the Group’s customers, acknowledging their loyalty and sustained patronage as central to the achievement. Speaking on behalf of the Board of Directors, led by Yeye Erelu Adesola Mutiat Odeyeyiwa, he noted that the continued support and feedback from customers have been instrumental to the Group’s growth and consistency at the top of the distribution chain.

According to him, the dedication and resilience of Repton Group’s workforce have equally played a defining role. He commended staff across all subsidiaries for their commitment, operational ingenuity, and results-driven approach, which he said continue to power the Group’s outstanding performance.

The CEO attributed the series of successes to years of strategic planning, innovation, teamwork, and a strong corporate vision. Looking ahead, he revealed plans to further re-model operations through technology-driven processes, stressing that the Group remains focused on sustaining industry leadership and sharpening its competitive edge.

“Rather than resting on our laurels, we see this achievement as both a challenge and a motivation to do more,” he said, adding that complacency has no place in a highly competitive market environment.

In a separate reaction, Director of Repton Group, Yeye Erelu Odeyeyiwa Adesola Mutiat, credited the achievement to divine grace and extended appreciation to Dangote Group, customers, and staff for their collective roles. She thanked employees for their selfless service and reiterated the Group’s commitment to building on the momentum in the coming year.

With three consecutive wins now to its name, Repton Group’s latest recognition underscores its growing influence within Nigeria’s industrial and distribution ecosystem, as well as its ambition to remain a benchmark for excellence across Sub-Saharan Africa.
