This comes amid public calls for Dele Momodu to intervene in the highly publicized child custody battle between Davido and Sophia, the mother of his first child. Reports indicate that Davido had temporarily withdrawn the custody case after Sophia’s lawyer referenced circumstances surrounding the death of his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, in court.
Responding to public inquiries while in Liberia, where he is consoling former Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor over the loss of her only child, Dele Momodu assured that the matter is being addressed privately.
“Nothing to worry about. Everything is going to be alright. We’re working behind the scenes. Please, keep everyone in your prayers,” he said, emphasizing that both families are actively seeking a resolution to the dispute.
The development signals a move toward reconciliation as both parties navigate the sensitive personal and legal issues surrounding the case.
