Media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu celebrated a decade of marriage with a heartfelt gesture, re-proposing to his wife, Cynthia, during a surprise trip to Rome to mark their 10th wedding anniversary.

The couple, who tied the knot on February 6, spent the milestone day in Vatican City, where Obi-Uchendu orchestrated a secret re-proposal at the iconic St. Peter’s Basilica. The surprise was reportedly planned without Cynthia’s knowledge, adding an element of spontaneity and romance to the occasion.

Their celebration included attending mass at the basilica, where they received a special certificate from the Pope commemorating their 10 years of marriage. The day concluded with an intimate dinner at their favourite restaurant, rounding off a memorable celebration.

Obi-Uchendu shared the experience on Instagram, expressing love and gratitude for his wife while highlighting the meticulous planning behind the surprise. He credited Akano Diamonds for helping with the “secret project” and Travelbeta for facilitating the couple’s trip.

“Exactly 10 years married on Feb. 6, and we spent the most amazing day in Rome and Vatican City. Someone got a surprise re-proposal on holy grounds… we attended mass at St. Peter’s Basilica and got a 10th anniversary certificate from the Pope, and then ended the day with the best dinner at our favourite restaurant. Now, it’s vacation time. Where to next?” he wrote.

The gesture has drawn admiration online, with fans celebrating the couple’s enduring bond and the romantic milestone.
