A Second Daily Flight to Tokyo
The new service will operate using Emirates’ refurbished Boeing 777-300ER, offering customers more flexibility and a consistent onboard experience.
- EK320 departs Dubai at 22:30, arriving in Tokyo Narita at 13:30 the next day.
- EK321 returns from Narita at 21:30, landing in Dubai at 03:50 the following morning.
(All times are local.)
This added flight improves connectivity for passengers travelling via Dubai International Airport (DXB), especially those connecting from Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and South America.
For eastbound travelers, the afternoon arrival in Tokyo makes domestic connections smoother. Westbound passengers benefit from an early-morning arrival in Dubai, enabling easier onward connections to major cities across Europe and beyond, including Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, and Brazil.
Enhanced Cabin Experience with Upgraded Aircraft
The refurbished Boeing 777-300ER features Emirates’ latest four-class cabin layout:
- 8 First Class Suites
- 40 Business Class seats (1-2-1 layout)
- 24 Premium Economy seats
- 260 Economy seats
Cabin interiors feature updated designs, new colour palettes, wood finishes, and Emirates’ signature Ghaf Tree motifs.
Passengers across all cabins can enjoy regionally inspired meals, including Japanese options such as Kaiseki-style dining. Emirates’ inflight entertainment system, ice, offers more than 6,500 channels, including extensive Japanese-language content.
Tickets are available via emirates.com, the Emirates mobile app, travel agencies, and Emirates ticket offices.
Emirates’ Expanding Japan Network
Emirates has operated in Japan since 2002, currently serving three major gateways: Tokyo Narita, Tokyo Haneda, and Osaka. Premium Economy is available on flights operated by both Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft.
From 1 May, Emirates will operate 28 weekly flights to Japan, offering over 22,500 weekly seats. The airline will also provide up to 1,240 tonnes of weekly cargo capacity, supporting Japanese exports to markets across the GCC, Europe, and Africa.
Premium Services and Local Connections
Emirates recently introduced its Chauffeur-drive service for premium passengers in Narita, and plans to extend the service to Osaka from 1 March.
Domestic travel across Japan is supported through partnerships with Japan Airlines (JAL) and All Nippon Airways (ANA). These partnerships enable connections to 36 destinations, including 26 domestic routes and 10 regional routes. The new Narita frequency will increase flexibility for travelers connecting onward to these destinations.
