Popular content creator and skit maker Folagade Banks has unveiled his new clothing brand, House of Folagade, marking his entry into the fashion industry with a focus on traditional Adire outfits.

Known for his popular character Mama Deola, Banks announced the launch on Monday through his Instagram page, sharing a promotional video that featured him alongside several notable entertainers and content creators.

In the clip, fellow influencers including Nas Boi, Broda Shaggi, and Shank Comics modelled pieces from the newly released collection, showcasing vibrant designs and contemporary Adire styles.

In his announcement, Banks described the brand as a heartfelt gift to his fans, acknowledging their support throughout his creative journey.

“I present to you all, House of Folagade. Patronise Mama Adeola. My gift from the deepest place of love in my heart to those who have loved the brand all over the years and want Mama Deola to be as close as being in their homes,” he wrote.

The comedian revealed that the Adire dresses will be available starting at N50,000, urging his followers to support the brand.

House of Folagade focuses on traditional Adire fabric, a locally produced textile that has seen renewed interest in contemporary Nigerian fashion. The launch video, which has continued to attract attention online, highlighted various colourful designs and drew positive reactions from viewers.
