The entertainer made the allegation public in a video shared on his verified Facebook page, @Ijoba Lande 1, which quickly gained traction across social media platforms on Friday. In the footage, Ijoba Lande is seen with visible injuries around his eyes as people around him attempt to clean his face with water.
Parts of the video also show him inside what appears to be a police station, where he was reportedly trying to lodge a complaint over the incident. According to his account, the officers involved physically assaulted him, confiscated his iPhone 16 Pro Max, and allegedly took $1,200 belonging to his brother.
Ijoba Lande disclosed that he had returned to Nigeria from the United Kingdom only six days before the incident occurred. However, he did not disclose the exact location or the circumstances that led to the confrontation with the police officers.
As of the time of reporting, the Lagos State Police Command has not issued an official response to the allegations.
