Beyond ride-hailing, inDrive’s broader appeal is also becoming more evident. The platform ranked fourth globally in the travel category by downloads, climbing from fifth place in 2024. This improvement reflects increasing user engagement as the company steadily advances its transition from a single-service platform into a full-fledged super app.
Since its launch, inDrive has recorded more than 400 million downloads worldwide. The app is currently available in 1,065 cities across 48 countries and has facilitated over 8 billion transactions. Its defining feature—a peer-to-peer pricing model that allows riders and drivers to negotiate and agree on fares directly—continues to distinguish it in a competitive global market, reinforcing its emphasis on fairness and user choice.
Sensor Tower’s report further shows that inDrive topped the travel app download charts in nine countries, with Peru and Pakistan joining the list for the first time. In addition, the platform ranked among the top three most-downloaded travel apps in 22 countries, underscoring its growing relevance across diverse markets.
In 2025, the company accelerated its evolution into a super app by expanding well beyond ride-hailing. New offerings now include intercity transportation, courier services, grocery delivery, and financial services. This expansion is designed to address a wider range of everyday user needs, driving more frequent engagement and deeper integration into users’ daily lives—an approach that continues to fuel inDrive’s global growth.
Advanced technology plays a central role in this strategy. Artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics support improved personalization and smoother user experiences. From closing mapping gaps and improving estimated arrival times to using predictive analytics to anticipate user needs, these capabilities enable innovation while preserving inDrive’s core principle: giving users full control over pricing decisions.
The report also points to a broader industry trend, noting that super app ecosystems are becoming a major growth driver for ride-hailing platforms, particularly in emerging markets. In these regions, users are increasingly engaging with multiple services within a single app, boosting both usage frequency and platform loyalty.
Commenting on the achievement, inDrive Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Arsen Tomsky, said the consistent ranking reflects a shift toward multi-service platforms that deliver everyday value while remaining closely aligned with local market realities.
“Maintaining our position as the world’s second most downloaded ride-hailing app for a fourth consecutive year is a powerful validation of the value inDrive delivers to its users every day,” Tomsky said. “This recognition reflects the trust people place in our platform and the dedication of our global team. As we evolve into a super app, we remain committed to fairness, transparency, and user choice, while expanding access to services that make a meaningful difference in people’s daily lives.”
