Social media influencer Papaya Ex has accused a police officer of physically assaulting her in the Ajah area of Lagos State, raising concerns about alleged police misconduct. The incident reportedly took place late at night while the influencer was returning from a shoot.

During an emotional TikTok live session on Friday, Papaya Ex claimed the officer struck her face with a gun, assaulted her driver, and made inappropriate physical contact with her. She displayed visible injuries on her face, including a wound mark, while recounting the alleged events to her followers.

The influencer further alleged that the officer slapped her, hit her buttocks and breasts, and forcibly took her mobile phone. She explained that the assault was not captured on video due to network issues.

Videos circulating online show a heated exchange between Papaya Ex and a uniformed officer, though they do not independently verify the allegations. The incident has sparked widespread discussion on social media, with many users calling for a formal investigation into the claims.

As of now, the Lagos State Police Command has not issued an official statement regarding the allegations, and the full context of the incident remains unclear. Independent verification of the claims has not been possible, highlighting the need for a thorough inquiry.
