Atalanta booked a place in the semifinals of the 2025/26 Coppa Italia with an emphatic 3–0 victory over Juventus, as Ghanaian forward Kamaldeen Sulemana made a decisive impact off the bench.

The quarterfinal clash, played at Atalanta’s home ground, saw the Bergamo-based side dominate the Italian giants, with Kamaldeen finding the net just seven minutes after being introduced in the second half. The goal marked another strong moment in the forward’s season and underlined his growing influence despite recent speculation linking him with a move away from the club.

Kamaldeen began the encounter on the bench, even after an impressive performance against Como last weekend. Atalanta had already taken control of the match in the 27th minute when Gianluca Scamacca calmly converted from the penalty spot to give the hosts a deserved lead heading into halftime.

The advantage was extended in the 77th minute when Kamaldeen latched onto a scoring opportunity to double Atalanta’s lead, effectively putting the contest beyond Juventus. The strike was the Ghanaian’s third goal across all competitions this season, having previously scored against Juventus in the league and found the net against Torino.

Substitute Mario Pasalic added further gloss to the scoreline in the 85th minute, sealing a comprehensive win and confirming Atalanta’s progression to the final four of the competition.

With the result, Atalanta join Inter Milan as the teams already assured of a semifinal spot. Meanwhile, Bologna, Lazio, Como and Napoli will battle for the remaining two places as the Coppa Italia reaches its decisive stages.
