Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie has provided an update on her recent personal and professional milestones, highlighting new ventures in writing, health studies and public service.

The mother of four, who was recently appointed Special Adviser on Public Engagement and Advocacy to Monday Okpebholo, said she has been intentionally focused on growth and expanding her impact across multiple areas of her life.

In a post shared on Instagram, Johnson revealed that she has authored a book on puberty aimed at children between the ages of 10 and 13. Describing the project as heartfelt, she said it was designed to guide young people through a critical stage of development “with clarity, confidence, and the right information.”

Beyond writing, the actress disclosed that she is currently studying Functional Medicine at the Rockwell School of Holistic Medicine. She described the academic journey as intense but fulfilling, noting that her interest in holistic health is purpose-driven rather than purely academic.

Johnson also announced that she has signed on as an ambassador for a new brand, though she did not disclose further details. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity, stating that she is proud to represent values that align with her personal vision.

Speaking on her appointment in Edo State, Johnson affirmed her commitment to service and meaningful change in her role within the administration. She said the new responsibility is one she holds with “deep commitment to service, impact, and meaningful change.”

Balancing her public engagements with family life, Johnson described the current season as one of refinement and growth. “This season is stretching me, refining me, and reminding me that we can wear many hats and still wear them well to the glory of God,” she wrote.

The update reflects a period of transition for the actress, as she combines her entertainment career with authorship, health education and government service.
