Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has publicly turned down an offer to participate in a boxing match against comedian and musician Carter Efe, citing insufficient compensation.

In a recent video, Portable revealed that the N50 million proposed by music executive Soso Soberekon was far below his expectations. He emphasized that he has additional conditions that must be met before he would consider stepping into the ring.

Extravagant Conditions

Portable’s demands include a luxury car valued at N300 million, bringing his total asking price to N350 million. He expressed confidence in his ability to defeat Carter Efe if his conditions were accepted.

“Soso, N50 million is too little. Give me N50 million plus a car worth N300 million, totaling N350 million and I will beat Carter Efe mercilessly,” he said in the video.

The singer referenced previous boxing victories to bolster his claim, noting, “I am the same guy who beat Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington.”

Carter Efe’s Position

According to Portable, Carter Efe was reportedly ready to accept the initial offer, but Portable’s rejection underscores his insistence on higher stakes and additional perks.

As of now, it remains unclear whether negotiations will continue or if the proposed match will proceed under different terms. Fans and followers of both entertainers are closely watching the developments, anticipating whether the showdown will materialize.
